In the midst of a multi-front war, two comms officers -- allies serving on different fronts --  send messages back and forth. Their dispatches are by nature short, and they can under no circumstances reveal any key practical or tactical information. What they are able to communicate is the 'vibe' of their present conditions.

Vibe Dispatch is a co-operative worldbuilding game where you and another player send Vibe Dispatches through the mail via postcards. As you slowly build up the narrative of this conflict through environmental storytelling, you can also choose what sort of face to show your comrade. Are you terrified, but hopeful? Will you protect them from the difficulties that you encounter? Or are you honest about the state of your front and how it is affecting you? Are you sending them only information that you think they need to hear?

What characters will you find through this communication? What can slow-paced world building tell you about this world's inhabitants? How do their reactions to both the nearly imperceptible churning of the gears and the rapid overwhelming developments of their conditions show who that character is?

This download includes a 3-page PDF of the full text of Vibe Dispatch. It might be updated in the future, but the bones of the game are there. If you play it, please let me know how it goes!
